Author's Notes: C: My first Russell x Edward fic in.. ever. It really is short, but I hope it's okay. I really haven't been doing much writing since last school year. I hope my technique hasn't suffered. I think this is the corniest thing I've ever written. xD;;

There was something strange -- no, something powerful about Edward's skin. There was none other like it; it was venomous and dangerous and inviting all at the same time. Russell found himself captivated by the other's deliriously cold touch; found himself fascinated to no end by the cream colored skin drawn tightly over muscles, sinew, and metal. Russell would have to admit that he let himself wonder far too many times just where all those battle-field scars had come from.
Russell tangles his fingers into Edward's golden hair, pulling their two worlds rapidly closer, into collision. Russell knew it was the right thing to do when Edward returned touch with his own, calloused fingertips. Logical thought turns quickly into desire, which trickles down into lust.
The two dynamic forces tumble in an awkward Celtic knot of metal, peach skin, and blond hair. Sparks ignite, then their fuses blow. They melt together and seep into each other's veins, before they fall apart. Despite awkwardness and how uncomfortable it must be to sweat, they lie close together, still touching and holding each other into the night. Even when they were fast asleep, it was if they were melting into each other's dreams.
